HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?Usually Microblading is done in two sessions. The first takes two to three hours. In the first session, the brow is shaped and styled to the client’s preference, and pigment is applied.. 4-6 weeks later, the client returns for the second session for touch up. This takes one to two hours.

HOW LONG IS THE HEALING TIME?It takes about ten days for healing. In that time any redness will fade and the initial darkness of the eyebrows will begin to lighten. The color will lighten over about thirty days as it completely sets in.

WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO DO A TOUCH UP?Touch up is necessary because everyone heals differently and therefore the outcomes vary. Sometimes it is necessary to adjust the color and brow thickness by adding more strokes. In the touch up session, the final adjustments are made to assure the client’s satisfaction.

IS MICROBLADIMG PAINFUL?The level of discomfort is relatively minor. Some liken it to tweezing two to three hairs at the same time. As the blade cuts through the top layer of the skin you will feel a scratching sensation rather than pain.

HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?This varies from person to person and depends mainly on your skin type & amp; how well you look after your eyebrows after the treatment. If you have oily skin then generally the effects last between 6-8 months. If you have normal to dry skin then it can last up to 2 years. Even after this time, however, you will have some pigment left on your eyebrows which will allow you to fill it in much easier if desired. The aftercare during the first 2 weeks of the procedure is very important in ensuring that the eyebrows heal properly (see aftercare section). You must also always wear good sun protection (50 factor) as the sun can fade the pigments used

ARE THERE ANY PRE AND POST CARE INSTRUCTION?Prior to the start of your session, avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen and vitamins that may cause your blood to thin for twenty-four hours. Avoid tanning to allow your natural skin tone to be assessed. Avoid eyebrows tinting so i can see your real hair colour. Dont do any waxing/twizzing 5 days prior the treatment. For the Post Care Gently clean brows using a Q-tip lightly moistened with water. Gently wipe away Skin Candy (healing balm) and any lymphatic liquid (clear yellowish buildup) that may have occurred on the skin. Re-apply skin candy (healing balm) after lightly cleaning with a tissue. Apply a light layer of skin candy morning and night to brows for five to seven days. Do not over apply Skin Candy. Do not immerse brows in water for two weeks. Avoid face area when showering. When washing your face, make sure to avoid brows. Do not use makeup on the brows for up to two weeks. Do not peel or scratch at the scabbing as your brow area heals. No swimming, tanning or saunas for two weeks. No face scrubs or chemical peels for two weeks.

WILL I NEED AN ALLERGY TEST?Yes all clients will need an allergy test at least 24 hours before the procedure.

I HAVE PREVIOUS EYEBROW TATTOO ON MY BROWS, WILL MICROBLADING WORK FOR ME?"If the pigment is very dark and covers the whole of the eyebrow, then it would be best to wait for the tattoo to fade or have removal before microblading can be done. It is, however, best to come in for a consultation and discuss this, most pigments are coverable.

CAN I HAVE MICROBLADING IF I AM PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?You cannot have this procedure if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS DURING OR AFTER THE PROCEDURE?You may experience some bleeding during the procedure but this varies from client to client and depends on your skin. Bruising is very rare but there may be slightly bruising or redness after the procedure.

CAN I RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT AFTER GIVING MY DEPOSIT?Please understand that 2 days notice is necessary to arrange a new appointment. Rescheduling or cancelling after that will have to result in the loss of your deposit. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your treatment time (Late arrival of 30 mins can lead to your treatment being canceled and your deposit lost)

HOW DO I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?Please email us for bookings and info and we can arrange a consultation date for you. You will have an allergy test and on consultation to book your procedure date a deposit is required to reserve your appointment. The deposit will be deducted from the final price of your treatment. If you are allergic to the patch test and inform us of this during the testing hours (24-48 hours) your deposit is refundable.
